The ProPod has an octagonal design with rounded edges all around. This shape reduces potential contact points and ensures smooth, safe, and controlled training.
The clean design follows not only functional considerations, but also the desire to consciously incorporate aesthetics. A platform should be present without dominating the training.
A key feature is the ProPod's modular design. This facilitates transport, storage, and shipping – but above all, everyday handling. The individual elements are significantly easier to carry, assemble, disassemble, and use flexibly.
Furthermore, the platform is designed to be expandable. Initial prototypes demonstrate how further structures can be developed from it. The ProPod is not intended as a finished product, but as a system that can grow with the user.
What really changes in training
In the MovedByWood concept, the platform is deliberately used as a structured comfort zone. Not as a mere break, but as a consciously designed training space for reduction, regulation, and learning quality.
Horses switch between their fight-or-flight response and their thinking response depending on the situation. The clearly defined, solid wooden surface of the platform supports this shift towards the thinking response: aids become more subtle, movements slower, more coordinated, and more controlled. The nervous system can stabilize – a prerequisite for meaningful learning processes.
As a calm counterpoint to the freer groundwork with more space and movement, the platform offers a clear framework for body awareness, self-organization and a concentrated, calm working quality.

Why our ProPod was intentionally designed to be round and divisible
The ProPod 's round shape is not a design gimmick, but a deliberate decision relevant to training and construction.
Compared to rectangular platforms, the round shape reduces potential contact and impact points, allowing for calm, safe, and controlled work. The horse can be led or circled smoothly around the platform without being restricted by fixed corners or angles.
Especially for inexperienced horses, the uniform shape makes orientation and entry easier, as the positioning does not have to be exactly right and access remains the same from all sides.
The ProPod 's modular design creates additional internal reinforcements, ensuring stability and even load distribution. This makes the ProPod suitable for loads of at least 800 kg and also suitable for large, heavy horses.
The shape and construction of the ProPod is independently developed and legally protected by a registered design right at the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA).
