ProPod Core 16 – tall wooden placeboard for dogs

The ProPod Core 16 is the higher version of the ProPod Core 12 and is suitable for demanding placeboard training, targeted body and hindquarter work as well as versatile coordination and pole work.

The shape, base and drilling system are identical to the ProPod Core 12 – the difference lies deliberately in the height of approximately 16 cm , which allows for a significantly more intense training stimulus.

The ProPod Core 16 is aimed at dogs that are already working confidently in training and will benefit from stronger muscle activation, more conscious weight shifts and clearer movement impulses .

The greater height promotes controlled ascent and descent movements, active hindquarter work, and more precise body awareness – without making the training environment restless or hectic.

The placeboard helps the dog to consciously perform movements, build stability and to structure training sessions in a goal-oriented manner – from advanced basic work to targeted development, rehabilitation or osteopathy-accompanying work.

Made from solid, untreated wood, the ProPod Core 16 appears calm, natural and stable.

The subtle, transparent anti-grip surface ensures a secure hold when getting on and off, without altering the wood look, and is applied as standard to every board delivered .

An additional non-slip coating on the underside of the platform was deliberately omitted. A slippery surface remains slippery – for both the platform and the dog.

This decision follows the training logic that a secure stance can only be achieved where the dog can actually develop a firm grip.

Poles are available as an option and offer – depending on the training goal – diverse possibilities for coordination, development and body work.

The elevated design of the Core 16 allows for particularly fine and effective variation of training stimuli, even in physiotherapeutic or osteopathic contexts.

Each ProPod is handcrafted. Wood is a natural material – grain and color can vary, making each pedestal unique.
