ProPod Core 12 – versatile wooden placeboard for dogs
The ProPod Core 12 is a versatile training platform from the ProPod line and is suitable for quiet placeboard training, structuring basic work as well as for advanced coordination, pole and body work.
Due to its balanced design, it is suitable for a wide target group – from young dogs to sporty dogs to sensitive or physically restricted dogs in training or rehabilitation.
The height of approximately 12 cm allows for more conscious movements, targeted weight shifts and active engagement of the hindquarters.
This creates a clear, calm training framework with more training stimuli than the basic model, without overwhelming the dog.
The placeboard helps the dog to perceive its body in a more differentiated way, to perform movements in a controlled manner, and to structure training sessions in a structured and stress-free way – from calm standing work to targeted coordination and hindquarter work.
Made from solid, untreated wood, the ProPod Core 12 appears calm, natural and stable.
The subtle, transparent anti-grip surface ensures a secure hold when getting on and off, without altering the wood look, and is applied as standard to every board delivered.
An additional non-slip coating on the underside of the platform was deliberately omitted. A slippery surface remains slippery – for both the platform and the dog!
This decision follows the training logic that a secure stance can only be achieved where the dog can actually develop a firm grip.
Bars are available as an option and significantly enhance the training:
They enable a variety of coordination, step-over, and strengthening exercises, as well as targeted work in physiotherapy or osteopathic contexts. Different bar positions allow training stimuli to be individually adapted to the dog, training goal, and the dog's daily condition.
Each ProPod is handcrafted. Wood is a natural material – grain and color can vary, making each pedestal unique.
